Hotel Bergresidenz Muhle - Obergurgl, Austria
Your hosts at the Mühle Resort Residenz are the lovely Gstrein-Noesig family. And their activity programme, superior service and excellent leisure facilities keep guests coming back year after year.
The Residenz is just a snowball’s throw from the main Mühle Resort, in a peaceful spot between the Tyrolean mountain villages of Obergurgl and Hochgurgl. It’s a 20-minute walk to either of the villages, but you can take the regular ski bus or use the hotel’s free shuttle to get there in no time.
The rooms in the Residenz have been finished to the same high standard as the main hotel, with spacious, modern rooms and comfy furnishings. There’s a snug lounge area to relax in and as an added bonus you’ll get access to the excellent leisure facilities in the Mühle Resort. After a day on the slopes, you can take a dip in the pool or relax and unwind in the saunas and steam room – all of which are just 30 metres away in the main building.
Head to the restaurant in the morning for a hot and cold buffet breakfast, where you can choose from a range of cereals, bread, sliced cheese, meat and cooked options to fuel up for a day on the slopes. And in the evening you’re treated to a 7-course meal, serving up regional specialities as well as international classics.
This hotel does not take children under 14 years old.

Austrian twin beds
Austrian twin beds are very common in Central Europe. They’re simply one large bed frame containing two single mattresses, both with separate duvets and linen sets, that cannot be separated. Separate twin beds are less common and can often be head to head beds, rather than side by side, if they are available.
