Hotel Waldrand, Scheffau, Austria

Great place near the ski bus which is a lot less hassles than other places. Never full & never had to wait long. Lots of non Brits at the hotel which makes a pleasant change, food hearty if not overly creative. Giant St Bernard dog intrigued my daughter... but probably wont be there next season - he was getting on a bit! Rooms basic but clean & decent views from most. Didnt use the sauna - not sure why not. Dont get the company ski rental, pop down the valley and pay a third of the price! Enjoy.
