It’s half board here with three course buffets each evening, so there’s no fussing over tonight’s meal plans – though with your own induction hob and a pizzeria downstairs, you can easily change tack whenever you fancy.

The pool area looks as slick as the rest of the place and even has floor to ceiling windows – there’s just something about a toasty swim with snowy views, you know? There’s also a Finnish sauna here, which is ideal for relaxing those muscles, ready for another day’s skiing.

You’re a short walk, or an even shorter bus ride, away from the slopes, you get dedicated ski storage when you’re back and you can even pay for expert equipment maintenance in-house if you need some help getting your gear in order – meanwhile you can put your feet up and get cosy by the fire.
