Hotel Lion - Bansko, Bansko, Bulgaria

A friend and I arrived early in the Lion Hotel on Sunday morning the 18th March 2018 for a weeks skiing. No sooner had we stepped in through the door we realised this was a high class hotel. Over the week ahead this was confirmed by the copious facilities available to guests - swimming pool, jacusi, sauna and much more. Over the coming week we enjoyed a blend of skiing and inhouse friendly service and dining facilities that made our holiday a memorable one - all provided at a very affordable price. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone searching for a little adventure on the pistes, and then to relax in the jacusi and sauna concluding the day with a relaxing drink at the bar served by a friendly bar-tender

Our lads holiday, including 5 lads and one girl to the lion hotel in Bansko was a great one. Igluski were by far the cheapest ski booking agent that we found when we were looking online. The flight with Thomas cook was unfortunately very poor with cramped leg space and very rude staff but the nielson rep was great. Everyone spoke English very well indeed. The transfer was ok, but they did stop for half an hour at a tourist trap which we all felt was a waste of time and unneeded. The hotel was the lion Bansko which we would all highly recommend. The swimming pool was great. The food was ok but the food out of the hotel was so cheap you had plenty of options. Sadly we didnt get much snow but there was plenty of ski slopes to cater. Overall 8/10
