Yllas Log Cabins - Santa Breaks in Yllas, Lapland, Finland
Our selection of idyllic, high-quality, well-equipped log cabins is perfect for families looking for an extra special Lapland experience. All centrally heated cosy modern cabins come with their own sauna, fireplace and fully-equipped kitchen, and are dotted around the woods 250-950m away (5-25 minutes' walk) from the Äkäs hotel. Most excursions depart from this hotel.
Guests have the option of pre-booking half board or self-catering. There is an excellent large well-stocked supermarket in the village centre. (All cabins vary in appearance and may be round or flat log or adjoin another cabin).
Accommodation - Yllas Log Cabins, Lapland
All Log Cabins have shower, WC, sauna, fireplace (wood included), TV, VCR or DVD, oven, fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee-maker, dishwasher, hoover, iron, drying closet and washing machine. Guests may pay to use 'Äkäs' Hotel pool and sauna. Linen, towels and final clean is included.
1-room + mezzanine - 25m²+10m² (A4) can sleep 1-4 with a double sofa bed in open-plan living room/kitchen. 2 mattress beds in mezzanine. Recommended for maximum 3 persons. Maximum 2 adults
2 rooms + mezzanine - 45m²+10m² (B5) can sleep 2-5 people in a twin bedroom, 2 mattress beds in mezzanine and a single sofa bed in the open-plan living room/kitchen
3 rooms + mezzanine - 57m²+20m² (C6) can sleep 3-6 people in 2 Twin Bedrooms and a large mezzanine with 2 beds

Santa Breaks in Yllas
Ylläs is an idyllic unspoiled Lappish village with marvellous scenery and high-quality cosy log cabins dotted around the woods. Äkäs Hotel is the main focus of entertainment but there is also a handful of colourful local bars and restaurants and an excellent large supermarket. With stunning unspoiled natural scenery, the skies here are especially clear, ideal for witnessing the magical Northern Lights. You may even spot reindeer roaming around.
