The Harriniva Adventure Resort is a family run wilderness-themed hotel and resort, set beside Europe's longest free running river - the Tornion- Muonionjoki. In this remote retreat you can enjoy a range of arctic adventures included within the package, as well as full board meals.
A stay at Harriniva Adventure Resort includes a range of exciting Arctic activities right on your door stop. Whizz through the magical snowy landscape on a snowmobile tour, or visit the arctic sled dog centre and venture through the frozen forest on a husky safari, you can also meet the reindeer at the Lappish farm. For a slower pace, explore the magical scenery on snowshoes or cross country skis and admire the pristine forest. In the evenings, try and spot the Northern Lights - given the remote location of Muonio, you have the best chance of spotting them here.
There is a great choice of accommodation types including the sauna rooms which have their own private sauna, or the wilderness suites which provide a touch of luxury to your stay. To add a touch of authenticity to your stay, enjoy the outdoor tepee or the sauna, perfect for cosy gatherings and storytelling under the Arctic sky. The Harriniva Adventure Resort is on a full board basis, enjoy buffet style meals and complimentary tea and coffee in the main restaurant throughout the day - children also have soft drinks available.

The Santa Experience
Experience the wonders of Lapland this winter season in the magical Muonio. Experience a world of enchantment with a variety of winter activities all included with your Ingham's Santa Break package. Feel the thrill as you slide down the slopes on a toboggan, race through the snowy fells on a snowmobile, embark on a magical husky safari through the magical untouched landscape or take a serene reindeer sleigh ride through the sparkling forests. You can also bake traditional Finnish gingerbread cookies, or craft your very own Christmas decorations to remember your enchanting trip to Lapland. The highlight of the day is experiencing the magic of meeting Santa in his hidden cabin, nestled among snow-covered trees and glistening icicles. Each family will have a special meeting with Santa, where the children will receive a small gift. With enough Christmas magic, you may even be lucky enough to encounter the mystical Northern Lights, a magical display of dancing colours that paint the night sky with hues of emerald green, sapphire blue, and fiery red, it really is the greatest light show on earth.
We also include arctic thermal suits and warm snow boots for all adults and children (3 years and over - as these breaks are not recommended for infants), meaning you can 'come as you are' with your normal winter outdoor clothing, and we'll do the rest, so you can relax and enjoy the Lapland snow. Our representatives based in Levi are also on hand to ensure you make the most of your Lapland holiday - if you need any advice, tips or assistance while you're away, they're more than happy to help.

The Harriniva Adventure Resort is on a full board basis. Your first meal will be dinner on arrival day and last meal will be breakfast on departure day.
Each day you can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet with a range of hot and cold options. In the evening you can enjoy a three course evening meal, the menu combines modern tastes with a Lappish touch. One evening you'll have a special Christmas dinner. Soft drinks and juice wristband included for children. There's also complimentary coffee and tea in the hotels main restaurant, plus a range of soft drinks available.
