The Ruka Log Cabins provide an authentic Finnish experience for families or groups, nestled in a peaceful area of West Ruka amid stunning natural scenery.
While offering a tranquil setting, some cabins are within walking distance of Ruka centre, allowing easy access to its shops, restaurants and lively après-ski scene.
Embrace an invigorating uphill walk or enjoy a fun sledge ride back after a day on the slopes. With ski lifts and the ski bus close by, accessing Ruka's varied slopes is effortless, and cross-country trails start right from your doorstep.
Inside, the well-furnished cabins feature full kitchens with modern appliances, offering the flexibility of self-catering. After a day enjoying Ruka's winter activities, from skiing to husky sledding, the private sauna is perfect for unwinding. Then, relax by the log fire in the spacious living area, ready for another exciting day.

Cabin Room Options
All cabins are non-smoking and have a combined living and dining area with a TV, wood-burning fire with unlimited firewood, drying cabinet for clothes, iron and private sauna. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hot plates, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Bed linen, towels and end-of-stay cleaning (except kitchen area) are included.

WiFi isn't available in the cabins, so you'll really be able to unplug and enjoy a digital detox during your stay.

Each cabin is individually owned and may look slightly different from the images shown. And while all the cabins are in the same part of the resort, it’s not possible to guarantee that multiple cabins will be located next to each other.

Check-in is at 4pm. If your transfer arrives before then, you'll be dropped off in Ruka's village centre. From here, you'll need to take the ski bus to your cabin at check-in time, which is free with a lift pass.

Check-out is at 12pm. If your transfer coach is scheduled after then, you'll need to make your own way to the village centre on the ski bus to be collected. Due to the narrow roads, the coach doesn't not have direct access to your cabin and you might need to walk a short way with your luggage.
