The Hotel Central in Barèges is an excellent and very well presented 3* hotel, right in the heart of this traditional mountain village, some 1250m above sea level.
The hotel was totally refurbished a few years ago and now offers a contemporary style and highly professional service. The hotel is close to the thermal baths, something which has to be experienced during your stay, and opposite the free resort ski bus stop, which will get you to the lifts in a few minutes.
There a number of places to relax in the hotel, including a friendly reception lounge with fireplace and adjacent library, while the hotel bar has comfy sofas and a chilled vibe where drinks can be enjoyed and tales of your adventures on the mountain can be shared in the evenings.
Should you wish to unwind further and pamper yourself, the hotel has its own spa, the 'Nordic Square' which is a joy to relax in after a day of skiing or boarding. You'll find a Jacuzzi and sauna, which should reinvigorate the body and mind and set you up perfectly for the following day.
