Step inside the spacious and beautifully decorated surrounds of La Tania’s Chalet de mon Père. Here, you can expect comfort, modern facilities and breathtaking views, alongside superb service and top quality cuisine! Inside, you’ll find the open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, which offers superb views of the surrounding mountains. The living room is the ultimate cosy base; it comes complete with an inviting log fire and flat a screen TV – the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the mountains! Leading off from the lounge is a large terrace decked out with a dining table, chairs and sunbeds, where you can relax with a good book on those sunny, bluebird days.
There is also a large mezzanine where children can play to their hearts’ content. The pièce de résistance Chalet de Mon Père, however, is the separate Jacuzzi, which is situated in a glass room with fantastic views. Imagine the hours you could spend here taking in the views and soaking those weary muscles. Bliss!
The Chalet has six double bedrooms with well-appointed en-suite facilities and heated towel rails. Five of the six rooms have baths with showers and shower screens.
A 10 minute walk will take you to the village centre. You can also ski to and from the chalet using the green run, Plan Fontaine. Guests staying in Chalet de Mon Père have the use of a courtesy bus service, which takes guests to the ski school or the La Tania cabine. This service is available between 9am and 10am. The minibus will also be available to bring guests back to the chalet in the afternoon as it will run for the final hour before the La Tania telecabine closes. There is also covered parking for 4 cars, should you wish to drive yourself!

Appetising Canapés & Apéritifs
A lovely start to the week, on arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapes and aperitifs will be served to you in the lounge whilst your chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.
Delicious cooked breakfasts
Start your day with a delicious cooked breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, Heinz beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes plus a selection of cereals, porridge, yogurts and fresh bread. Served 8am to 9am.
Homemade cakes & afternoon tea
Scrumptious homemade cakes and a choice of teas are provided every day, best enjoyed while you relax in the lounge area in front of the log fire.
Three course dinner
Home cooked evening meal served at 8pm with unlimited carefully selected choice of red or white wines, with an additional 4th course of local cheese board with port on your final evening.
Your chalet hosts will dine with you in the evenings.
Children's High Tea
Children aged 11 and under will be served High Tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 8pm. If you have booked a whole chalet then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.
Special Dietary Requirements
Our chalet hosts are used to adapting the menu to accommodate your food preferences. If you do have a specific dietary need (eg., vegetarian or Coeliac) or an allergy, please let the office know at least 10 days prior to your holiday start date. Many food preferences can be dealt with on arrival. Please note that French Alpine supermarkets do not have the same range as British supermarkets, therefore if you have very strict dietary needs it is helpful if you can bring a few items.
