Chalet Peisey, Les Arc Peisey Vallandry, France

One of the described highlights of this Chalet is that it is Ski in Ski out - it is not - and neither are there ski lockers making your walk to the lift easier. The chalet itself is very nice, just in a poor location - the village it is in (slightly below Peisey Valandry) has very little amenities and the Lonzagne lift does not run in the evening to get you into any place for restaurant and shop choices. I guess it depends on how you have spoiled yourself previously on Chalet location, but for me having to get the Lonzagne lift at the start and end of the day was a pain. They did have a well stocked drinks fridge that you could help yourself to outside of the evening meal (not normal with catered chalets), and the food was excellent - as were the hosts. The rooms and beds were comfy, as was the seating area.
