Chalet Des Cascades, Les Arcs, France
Directly on the slopes, it's not just ski in, ski out but built into the piste - arguably the best location in Les Arcs. The open plan lounge and dining area has a huge central fireplace as the focal point and a show kitchen to watch how the chefs rustle up your delicious food each evening. The height of this room is impressive with windows climbing up the two storey frontage flooding the space with natural light. The terrace spills out the from the lounge with fantastic panoramic mountain views to enjoy around the fire pit. Relaxing around an outdoor roaring fire after a day on the slopes can only be topped by having a cup of hot cocoa or a large glass of wine in hand. Something we hope you'll enjoy as much as we do.
As you can ski to and from the ski room door there's absolutely no walking in your ski boots required. In the evenings, it's 100m stroll across the piste to the centre of Arc 2000, you'll be hitting the après of the village in no time. Alternatively, you can relax in the chalet pool and sauna.
What we like:
- The incredible ski in, ski out location on beginner friendly slopes. Ski down to the Saint Jacques chairlift each morning
- Fire pit on the terrace with fantastic mountain views
- Underfloor heating throughout
- Central open fire place in the lounge/dining area with floating chill out space above
- Indoor pool and sauna with showers for late check outs
Worth knowing:
- Les Arcs 2000 is 100m away, but access is across a piste so you will need snow friendly boots
- One of the standard rooms is wheelchair accessible and therefore a larger 22m2
