Chalet L'Ours Brun Reviews
An outstanding week made by our exemplary chalet host Adam Atkins. We were his guinea pig week and he demonstrated such care and attention to detail, coupled with very impressive culinary skills. Other chalet hosts looked to him for guidance. The weeks evening meals were superb. Our rooms were cleaned and tidied each day. Designed for twelve (6 x 2) this chalet was at full stretch in the communal area but provided very good value for money at this time. We loved the log fire every night! Having Sport 2000 ski shop underneath the chalet made ski hire a breeze. Position of the chalet is good, circa 100m to nearest button lift. Pool and Sauna were good.

Chalet L'Ours Brun is an not in an ideal position, I would stay somewhere else in future. The Chalet Host was appalling. She had no interest in the job. The food was terrible, we did not have one meal that was served complete - vegetables would be brought to table when the meat was finished, etc. The food was poorly cooked, left in the oven to dry, cold and quite often inedible. Her apron was so dirty it looked like she was a mechanic. The rooms were not that clean and very very small. We would definitely not return to the chalet but Les Arcs resort is wonderful for skiing and I would return to the resort again.
Apres Ski: 3/5
