Club Med Arcs Extreme Reviews
Highly recommended - food, entertainment and skiing - all excellent. Ski school, which is included, was great. Highly impressed with the organisation and efficiency of the whole operation and the staff could not be more helpful. The only downsides - the rooms are quite small (but aren't all rooms in the French Alps?) and the initial ski-in/ski-out is a bit of a chore, but manageable.

Came back from a week here over Feb half term. The Club Med system was great and just what I expected. Drinks, food and music at lunch and when you came back from lessons on an afternoon, along with shows and performances on a night time. It wasn't too in your face and most nights we had drinks in the spacious reception/lounge area without feeling like we were missing out on anything. The hotel is a three star, so don't expect 5 star luxury, however it has been on par with many chalets I've stayed in. The rooms were quiet and clean with everything in there you need. The staff were brilliant, and were a big part in helping to make this holiday such a success. They were all friendly and had no problems helping you out with any queries you had. The vast majority of them spoke 2 or 3 languages and were very knowledgeable, and the cleaning staff were great. The hotel is in a good location, 5 minutes walk max to the bigger chairlifts and the ability to ski out of the hotel to a short poma lift up to the main plaza. As a snowboarder I didn't have a problem getting around and the resort caters well for all activities. Hardly any poma lifts and queues were minimal. The food was very good. A wide ranging buffet including meat, chicken, fish, pastas and pizza, freshly made desserts and an extensive selection of cheese. I definitely had my fill and didn't have a bad meal whilst I was there. In summary, don't be put off by the Club Med package. It includes everything you need (apart from ski carriage/hire) and was great fun.
