Club Med Serre Chavalier is located on the slopes just above Villeneuve and main lift with adjacent nursery slopes. The building is large and smart with a chalet feel with the abundance of wood cladding and stone. Inside there are lots of floor to ceiling windows which gives a light and spacious feel to the property. This is a brilliant spot for families and there is even a Petit club for kids those too young for ski school and too old for nursery, complete with dedicated ski area, magic carpet and mini drag lift. Mini and Junior Club have all day instruction and lots going on aside from skiing. The distinct family areas make sure that non-family groups have their own relaxing space in the hotel. The in-house lessons are available for all levels, both skiing and snowboarding. There are staggered meet times to ensure the boot room never gets too crowded. As you leave for the ski day there are shots of genepi handed out for the keen adults and on your return there is often a BBQ set up. As the evening sets in the Club Med comes alive, lights sparkle, music flows and mood ramps up. Each night the food is themed, expect to be treated to oysters, foie gras, lobster and steak at least once during your stay.
Club Med Serre Chevalier
Serre-Chevalier, at an altitude of 1400 metres at the heart of the Southern Alps, is alive with the pure air of the mountain peaks. The stone and wooden chalets in the Club Med Resort are like a typical Alpine hamlet, set against the larch wood slopes and nestling near a small lake.
This is a heavenly location for families who love sports and for high mountain nature enthusiasts, who will delight in relaxing by the magnificent swimming pool after a hike, a rafting descent, or even a fitness session. This Resort has two restaurants and is a haven of peace where the art of living goes hand in hand with happiness.

Club Med Serre Chevalier Reviews
The accommodation was really nice, the food excellent and service extremely friendly. My advice is to ski hard to burn off the calories from the food which is irresistible. Kids will love the location as it really is doorstep skiing and a relatively gently run in. The lift access via the bubble works very well and the beginners slope is adjacent to the accommodation. We had a fantastic family holiday here!
Serre Chevalier a tree lined resort in France -
If you're looking for a French resort not on every ones agenda try a visit to Serre Chevalier.
The Club Med there is Ski in Ski Out, the beginners slopes are next to the Club Med. The hotel has a large pool to enjoy after a hard days skiing which I did on many occasions which has some lovely views.
The bar area has a sun terrace with nice comfy sofas and chairs.
Club Med offers a great choice in food for all meals.
There is a nice long run back to the resort from the top of the Vallons lift.
The lifts are not the quickest in but this does give you more time to enjoy the views plus there are a few more drag lifts then other resorts.
The resort itself has plenty off tree lined skiing and loads of off piste skiing available.
The piste runs offer lots of variety for all levels.
The town does not have much night life but has a few bars the Frog being the busiest but there are enough places to enjoy for a evening visit.
The mountain has some great hidden restaurants to unwind during the day.
Also the transfer from Turin is short.
Would I go back again of course I would.
