Chalet Arktic has an amazing comfortable living area and open kitchen which is very spacious and modern; it looks out onto an amazing view of the mountains. The Arktic has its own indoor hot tub and sauna area which also has stunning views. The chalet also has its own little home cinema area which is really cosy and the perfect area to chill out with some afternoon tea! The chalet is situated just over a minute away from the closest drag lift (Chardonnet) and it is only about a 6 minute walk down to the main lift area which has connections to Val d’Isere. It is also about 6 minutes’ walk from the bars and restaurants in Tignes Le Lac.

The Arktic is one of our most popular chalets and has received several press accolades as one of Tignes elite chalets. Its light and modern lounge is designed and furnished in a funky contemporary style, and the view from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, out over the sun-terrace to the lake and the whole Tignes bowl, are simply sensational.
The location is ideal, with the Chardonnet lift and piste just 150m away, and the restaurants, shops and bars of Le Lac just another 100m further on. Heading the other way, the main Aeroski gondola connecting to Val d’Isère is only approx. 5-6 minutes walk.

Evening meals will be on 6 nights.
Breakfast
Start the day with a cooked breakfast including your choice of bacon, eggs, sausages and beans, as well as a continental selection with a choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea, coffee and bread (and croissants in France), cold meats, cheese and preserves, which is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. Afternoon tea comprises of a delicious homemade cake accompanied by hot drinks will be laid out for you every day except on the staff’s one day off per week.
Dinner
Our three-course dinner menus start with an glass of Prosecco followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, accompanied by a choice of complimentary wines, with coffee or tea to follow.
Vegetarian options are available if advised in advance. Other special dietary requirements must also be advised to us at the time of booking in order for your chalet hosts to be fully prepared and incur a charge of £35 per person per week to cover the cost of additional ingredients. Failing to book special dietary requirements in advance can incur additional supplements in resort.
On your Host’s day off, they will leave a simpler continental breakfast out for you to help yourselves, there is no afternoon tea on these days, and you can dine out locally in the evening.
