Run by large French operator Odalys, the Aparthotel Alpina offers decent budget chalet apartments within a 5-minute walk of the lifts in Tignes Val Claret. A good option for families and couples it’s a quiet accommodation to spend a stay in Tignes.
The apartments are pretty functional, with suites offering an added level of comfort. Double rooms and balconies are available on request for an extra bit of space to relax in after a day on the mountain.
As well as serving up a good location that is 5 minutes’ walk from the main bars in Val Claret, you’ll find that you’re well-fed at the Alpina – not to mention that with its traditional alpine chalet decor, the restaurant and bar space is a good place to relax. It isn’t fine dining but the cold buffet breakfasts are as filling as you want them to be and the evening menu changes daily.
And don’t forget your swimming gear if you want a splash in the pool - it's always a bonus after a day on the mountain.
