Residence Santa Terra is made up of a selection of apartments sleeping from four people up to a massive 10 people, each one imagined by reputable designer, Michel Force. Unusual for many French apartments, each property is spacious with open-plan communal areas and elegantly filled with traditional materials, stylish seating and fully equipped kitchens - great for cooking up a storm every evening. From the patterned curtains and cushions to the unique wall art, there are some lovely upmarket touches that make the apartments extra special.
If you’re into post-ski pampering, then you’ll be over the moon to know that the Santa Terra has onsite spa facilities. Head down in the afternoon for a swim in the pool, a dip in the hot tub or a session in the sauna, all surrounded by cobble-stone pillars and relaxing lighting.
The location, too, is something to take note of. The apartments are positioned in the centre of quiet Tignes Les Brévières – the lowest village in Tignes – looking out onto a stunning turquoise river. In the mornings, it’s only a short walk to the ski lifts for quick access to the slopes. In the afternoons, you can jump on the lift back down from Tignes Les Boisses or, if the weather permits, ski all the way back down to the village.
As the village isn’t connected to the other areas of Tignes by bus, the lively nightlife isn’t very accessible from the Santa Terra, making the apartments perfect for families and groups who are partial to a night in – whether that be in front of the telly, engrossed in a game of cards or tucked up in bed. There are a few small places to get a tipple nearby though, just in case you fancy one.
