Chalet Loup Blanc, Val Thorens, France

My group and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's basic but comfortable accommodation in a fantastic location with the main strip of bars just a 2 minute walk down the road. For advanced/ intermediate skiers it is practically ski in ski out with a path that leads to one of the main pistes. Getting back you can take the Cascades blue run and then take a right further on down which leads to an off piste track towards the water tower where you can ski down to the side of the chalet, right next to the boot room! Highly recommend this chalet for a group looking for easy access to the slopes, bars and nightlife!

Our first time at Val Thorens, we have skied many times at Easter and the skiing was excellent varied runs providing plenty of variety and all with good snow. The resort itself doesn't quite hit the mark as well as St Anton but the conditions more than made up for it. The accommodation was great and the chalet staff excellent although the bedrooms were basic and with shared wc (which we did know prior to booking). The dining area/lounge was comfortable and well appointed which also enjoyed excellent mountain views.
