Overall

I was in a group of 6 people staying here for a week starting on Sat 26th March. We were originally split between two chalets (Milo and Clementine) but on arrival at Clementine we found one of the rooms to be unbelievably small, and Skiworld helpfully checked for availability at other chalets and were able to move us to larger rooms at Milo that also meant we were all together. So, marks awarded to Skiworld for sorting this out, but marks lost due to room size (not enough floor space to open a suitcase, for example). One room at Milo had a very low ceiling (we saw this in the on-line description which is why we didn't book it in the first place) but it was preferable to the almost-no-floorspace option in Clementine. The chalet had free WiFi (not sure if this was mentioned in the brochure) which was useful (although very flaky when used with an iPhone). The chalet host at Milo (Gavin) was very friendly and helpful, e.g. preparing special meals for one of our party without a hint of complaint. He made a big play of his cookery skills, although we thought that his food sometimes didn't come up to the high standards he professed (e.g. very salty soup). He overslept one morning so breakfast was prepared late by another chalet host who valiantly stepped in. The resort was good, and the high altitude pretty-much essential at the end of the season - lower resorts were becoming un-skiable. As always, the 3 Valleys area offered a huge range of runs, although being the end of the season the choice was starting to become limited.

Apres Ski: 4/5
