Its scenery is spectacular. Its après ski, fantastic, and its skiing convenience is hard to beat. Nowhere in Val Thorens is far from anything, and Chalet Renard is no exception. Chalet Renard is located in a quiet part of Val Thorens in the Chalet des Neiges Residence, one of the highest residences in the French Alps. You can ski back to within 200m of the Chalet Des Neiges Residence, and ski from 300m. The apartment is positioned on the second floor of Chalet A in the Des Neiges Residence. The swimming pool and sauna are in Chalet B, access is via level three, and then its a short walk via an external stairwell which brings you to the entrance of Chalet B where the swimming pool and sauna are located. Perfectly positioned close to the slopes, there are also pubs, restaurants and shops galore, all located within a few minutes’ walk from your door. Chalet Renard is one of the highest chalet style apartments in the French Alps, and accommodates eight to ten guests on one floor. This chalet offers modern decor and boasts an open plan communal living area with wonderful views of the piste. The lounge has comfortable sofas ideal for relaxing after your exertions on the slopes. Your chalet host will be on hand throughout your holiday serving wonderful hearty food and is ready and willing to advise on ski conditions, what to do and where to go, they will offer a wealth of knowledge to ensure that you get the best out of your ski holiday. As a chalet style apartment, the Chalet Renard is ideal for families or groups taking over the apartment due to its shared facilities and cosy communal areas, although we are happy to sell on an individual room basis if requested. Chalet Renard also has the added advantage of being situated in the Chalet des Neiges Residence, giving guests of Chalet Renard access to the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, hammam and jacuzzi. This great array of extra facilities makes a real difference, particularly if there are non-skiers in your group or simply as an added extra for the little ones in the evening time. Chalet Renard cannot take infants.

Bed linen and towels are included. Ski Packs may cost more in resort than if pre-booked. A local French tourist tax must be paid locally.
The chalet hosts day off is Wednesday.
During your holiday you'll be served up some scrumptious treats, hearty meals, and delicious locally sourced wine! You will receive a three-course evening meal with unlimited red, white or rosé wine (6 days), with an additional 4th course of local cheese board with port on Thursday evening. A lovely start to the week, on arrival in your chalet, handmade pre-dinner canapes and aperitifs will be served to you in the lounge whilst your chalet host welcomes you to your chalet and introduces you to the resort.
Start your day with a delicious, cooked breakfast that includes bacon, eggs, beans or hash browns and mushrooms or tomatoes plus a selection of cereals, porridge, yoghurt and fresh bread. Served 8am to 9am (4 days only). Please note that there will be 4 cooked breakfasts served throughout the week and 3 self service breakfasts (e.g cereal, yoghurts, pastries, fruit etc) on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday morning (packed breakfast to take on transfer coach).
Scrumptious homemade cakes and a choice of teas are provided every day, best enjoyed while you relax in the lounge area in front of the log fire.
We know how much extra yummy food can add to your ski chalet holiday, that's why the team work hard to make sure your chalet hosts are trained to the highest standard to make sure every morsel you'll taste during your stay will get those taste buds tingling.
Wine, Tea & Coffee
To compliment your meal, we serve free and unlimited good quality red, white and rosé wines during dinner. After dinner, fresh ground coffee or decaffeinated coffee as well as tea is served in the lounge.
Children aged 11 and under will be served high tea at around 6pm. This is provided at no extra cost and ensures that your child's normal routine is not disturbed: soft drinks or milk are served with the meal. It also ensures that adults can enjoy their evening meal, which is served at 7.30pm. If you have booked a whole chalet, then you can eat together - please speak to your chalet hosts on arrival.
If you have specific requirements, please let us know at least 14 days prior to your holiday start date. The team can cater for special dietary requirements be that for medical reasons, religious reasons, or simply personal preference. The chalet hosts will be advised of these requirements in advance of your stay and every effort will be made to ensure that they are met.
