Chalet Hotel Valverde Reviews

We delighted to introduce the Valverde this season as the latest addition to our chalet hotel programme. Convenience is the key here, with easy access to the skiing and also to theChildren's Snow Park for our very youngest skiers. The Chalet Hotel is set back from the main road, so the location is quiet, yet you can stroll over to the village centre in just 4 minutes and the ski hire shop is less than a minute's walk away. With comfortable accommodation, our full range of on- site child care and a wonderful ski area to discover, we are sure that this will be another hugely popular choice for families.
Location, Location, Location!
Of all the villages in the Monterosa ski area, Gressoney-La-Trinite is best positioned to discover this exciting area. The village is quiet and compact and ideal for families, as the centre is largely traffic-free and eay to walk around. For the classes, the Children's Snow Park is just 3 minute walk away and has bouncy castles, a magic roundabout, tubing, tobogganing and a carpet lift to creat a jolly. fun atmosphere fro children just embarking on their ski careers.
Ski Area Access
We appreciate that skiing to and from your chosen hotel is high on the wish-list of many guests, and this is a major attraction of the valverde. The Punta Jolanda chairlift departs from just next to the Chalet Hotel, rising up to 2,278m and leading to runs that will take you either in the direction of the Punta Indren and Alagna, or towards Stafal and the slopes over toward Champoluc. At the end of the day, the Jolanda run will then bring you back to this very same place. The Piste is classifield as a red but wish its lovely long and cruisey stretches is frequently skied happily by all levels above absolute beginners.
Comfortable Hotel Facilities
The open-plan lounge is a perfect place to relax exchanging ski stories over afternoon tea or a drink from the bar, and there is also a children's reading and games corner. Pre-dinner aperitifs and canapes will be served here in the lounge, and there is a separate dinning room in traditional style, where all meals are served. On the lower floor is the ski and boot room, with a door giving direct access outside to the Punta Jolanda Chairlift and piste. The bedrooms and family suites provide a choice of accommodation styles for different family groups and ages, and all have the benefit of ensuite facilities and a TV/DVD player. Some also have a balcony. The welcome spa area, with sauna, stream-room and whirlpool hot-tub, offers perfect way to relax any aching muscles after a full day out skiing, and to keep the atmosphere as restful as possible, children under 13 are not permitted in the spa. We also have a new Nursery with separate day and sleep rooms, and a Snow Club room ready for fun and games for our younger guests. These rooms are also used for evening Cocoa Club activities.

Adult dinner at 7:30pm comprises 4 courses including canapés with a prosecco apéritif, followed by a choice of appetiser, main course and either dessert or local cheese, accompanied by a choice of red, white and rose wine, and culminating with tea or coffee. Adults (and any children aged 8 and over joining the adults) are asked to choose their starter and main course at breakfast time, and there's always a vegetarian daily option too.
