Hotel Bänklialp
The charming 3-star Hotel Bänklialp is situated in an idyllic spot, approx. 500 m from the centre of Engelberg. The ski bus stops in 70 m and takes you to the approx. 600 m distant ski area and lift "Titlis". Alternatively you can also use the hotel-own shuttle service to the lift (as per notice in resort). A children's ski lift can be found approx. 800 m away and the nearest cross-country track starts directly next to the hotel. The friendly hotel offers a wonderful view over the resort and the surrounding mountain landscape, and its facilities include an entrance area with reception, Wi-Fi, lift, dining hall, restaurant, bar, as well as a ski and ski boot room. Parking spaces are available free of charge at the hotel The sauna area (16:00 - 19:00) with eucalyptus steam bath and sauna can be used for free, and massages can be booked and paid for locally when requested. All the guests receive in Engelberg, the guest card, which offers a lot of discounts and free services, like free use of ski buses, pistes, different spa services and more (right reserved to limitations and service changes, see Important Notes). Rooms The cosy rooms all have a shower/wc, cable TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, radio, safe, as well as hair drier and some have a balcony or a terrace. Board The holiday price already includes half-board which comprises a rich breakfast buffet, as well as a 3-course menu with choice in the evening. Vegetarian meals and special children's meals can be prepared on request. The Christmas dinner on 24/12 as well as a festive gala dinner with dance and entertainment programme on New Year's Eve are also included. Occasionally, themed evenings are also organised (as per notice in resort).
