Haus Glacier, Zermatt, Switzerland

This chalet is right in the centre of town yet only a few minutes walk to the bus stop for the free ski buses to Sunegga or the Matterhorn Express lift. The chalet is clean and the living room/dining room area is very spacious with comfortable sofas and a free ipad for people who need to access the internet. The 2 ensuite bathrooms are fitted to a high standard with free toiletries included. One twin bedroom has access to a shower and toilet across the corridor. Storage within the chalet is good though there is no ski locker room. If you hire skis from the Glacier sports shop underneath the chalet you can store them there. The food is to a good standard, especially the cakes, the chalet host, ski guide and resort manager were very helpful and went out of their way to make our holiday run smoothly.
