Hotel Alex
The elegant 4-star Hotel Alex is located in the heart of Zermatt, approx. 100 m from the Gornergrat lift. The ski bus also stops approx. 100 m next to the hotel and a cross-country track can be found in Täsch, approx. 8 km away. The modern hotel's facilities include a reception, lobby, lift, Internet corner and Wi-Fi (incl.), common room, dining hall and restaurant with conservatory, bar, children's play room, terrace (depending on weather conditions), as well as a ski and boots room. An approx. 1,500 m² large spa area invites you to relax and is equipped with a swim grotto (7 a.m. - 8 p.m.), Finnish sauna, organic sauna, sanarium, spa shower and jacuzzi (sauna opening hours: 4 - 8 p.m.). For a fee you can also make use of a solarium and massage treatments in the beauty centre. For sportive activities next to skiing there is a fitness room, a tennis and squash hall as well as badminton. As Zermatt is car-free, your car must be parked in Täsch (approx. 8 km) and the shuttle train takes you to Zermatt (approx. 12 min ride). Moreover, the public parking garage in Täsch can be used for a fee. In Zermatt, the hotel's own shuttle service from/to Zermatt Station is also available upon prior reservation (incl.) Rooms The comfortable rooms all have bath or shower/wc, cable TV, radio, telephone, Wi-Fi (incl.), safe (incl.), hair drier as well as a jacuzzi. Board Included in the holiday price is the half-board comprising a breakfast buffet and a 4-course menu or themed buffet in the evening. On 24/12 and 25/12 a 7-course gala dinner is served and you can also look forward to a 7-course gala menu with party in the bar on New Year's Eve(Drinks not included on either of the dates).
