The cosy, 3-star Hotel Gornergrat-Dorf is located in the centre of Zermatt, right opposite the train station. The Gornergrat lift is only approx. 50 m away. The nearest cross-country track access point is located in the 8 km distant resort Täsch. The hotel's general facilities include a lobby with reception and free Wi-Fi, a lift, dining hall, bar and ski and boot room. The hotel-own sauna and relaxation room can be used for free, the solarium has to be paid for locally when used (each between 16:00 - 20:00, open hours may be subject to change, as per info in resort). A free-of-charge park house is located in Täsch, from where you can take the shuttle train to car-free Zermatt (payable locally, schedule as per notice in resort). Rooms The modern rooms all have a bath or shower/wc, cable TV, radio, telephone, safe, hair drier and a mini bar. Some room also have a balcony or terrace. Board The holiday price includes breakfast buffet. On request, you can add in resort and for a fee and a 4-course dinner menu.
