Hotel Pollux, Zermatt, Switzerland
The hotel Pollux is located in the heart of Zermatt - 200 meters from the train station. Our hotel has three restaurants: The Pinte is a typical local restaurant with wooden interior, where we serve among other dishes Swiss specialities like cheese fondue or raclette. In the Arvenstube, our restaurant in alpine chic style, you can enjoy international and mediterranean delicacies. The Vegistube is our small but fine vegetarian restaurant, in which we serve classic and innovative vegetarian and vegan dishes. Our cosy Chämi Bar with open fireplace is a popular meeting point for locals and guests. The hotel offers also a recreational area with finnish sauna, steam bath, jacuzzi, spa shower and solarium. The design of our 35 rooms is a mix of modern and rustic alpine elements. We can meet individual wishes due to various room types.
The hotel is situated at the Bahnhofstrasse, only 2 min on foot from the railway station. Zermatt is a car-free resort. Access for private transport is only allowed as far as Täsch (5km from Zermatt). The road from Täsch to Zermatt is not open to public transport.
