Fieberbrunn is a large resort that is home to beautiful scenery, great skiing and boasts the best snow record in the Kitzbuheler Alps.
In winter 2015/16 a new high speed gondola named ‘Tirol S’ will connect Saalbach
-Hinterglemm-Leogang with Fieberbrunn increasing the ski area to 270km making it one of the largest ski areas in Austria.
The ski area offers a range of ski runs including something for beginners to advanced skiers. There is excellent skiing locally and in the Schneewinkel area, plus further mileage accessible on the Kitzbuheler Alps All-Star lift pass. Skiers are able to take advantage of an incredible 1190 metres of vertical descent, accessible through 13 lifts. Fieberbrunn has over 80 acres of terrain over 26 pistes, offering perfect skiing space.
For snowboarders there is a half-pipe and 22 miles of cross country ski trails for those who want to do something different.
Excellent snow lasts well into April at Fieberbrunn, with its north facing slopes and good climate it holds a very impressive snow record.
Fieberbrunn boasts an excellent range of activities for everyone. The resort has a large swimming and sauna complex which is perfect for relaxing after a day’s skiing or a great place for children to have fun in the pools. Other resort activities include, a floodlit toboggan run, ice climbing, snow rafting, sleigh rides and day trips to Salzburg.
At the bottom of the slopes a good variety of après-ski can be found. There is a range of different bars offering traditional live music, parties and various evening events, all at reasonable prices. Eating out at Fieberbrunn is very good, a wide choice of traditional and international restaurants can be found, as well as the resort centre hosting plenty of bars, cafes and nightclubs.
