The village of Engelberg radiates the special charm of the Benedictine monastery, the wonderfully fresh countryside and an impressive mountain panorama. Cable cars lead off in all directions, while good restaurants, mountain huts and hotels invite you to linger. There is no limit to the number of sports on offer in Engelberg.

Just above the main street of Engelberg, the Hotel Terrace is accessible by an underground lift.  This Belle Epoque hotel, built in 1903, is a great value traditional and charming 3 star hotel with facilities such as steam bath, sauna and solarium.
