Ski Holidays in Le Corbier, France
The purpose built resort Le Corbier was inaugurated on December 30th 1967 with 700 beds, 15 km of ski slopes and 4 skilifts.
Today, Le Corbier offers 9000 beds and has stayed a warm, extremely family-friendly resort, even though its architecture, once avant-gardist, can leave the visitor puzzled. The resort is not over-crowded and with sensible prices everywhere. Apartment buildings have direct access to the slopes and ski lifts, and are inter-linked by a covered shopping gallery, offering comfort and security. The resort is entirely pedestrianised.
Le Corbier, with 5 other resorts, is part of the skiing area of Les Sybelles. With 310 km of slopes (out of which 90 km are parts of the only Corbier area), totally linked by ski, Le Corbier offers you the possibility to slide down on the biggest skiing area in the Maurienne Valley.
The connecting point to the 6 resorts is Mont Ouillon (2431 m high), the highest European mountain pastures. New ski lifts were created in total respect of the environment, to preserve nature and offer the best ski in breathtaking landscapes.
