Chalet Eleanor, Meribel, France
The Chalet Eleanor is a super, hugely spacious freestanding Alpine property situated just below the main square in Meribel.
With stunning views of the Women's Olympic Downhill run from a large south-west facing balcony, it has lots of space with all bedrooms being a good size and benefiting from en suite bathrooms. The living room has a wonderful open fireplace and doors leading to a wonderful large terrace on which to enjoy an apres-ski glass of wine or well-earned afternoon tea.
The Doran Piste is a 4 minute walk which provides direct access to the Chaudanne lift stations in Meribel and ski school meeting points. The main square with its bars, shops and restaurants is literally a few minutes walk.
All in all, the Eleanor provides a superb opportunity for larger groups of friends or perhaps 2-3 families to combine and make the most of not only space the chalet provides, but also the superb access to the centre of Meribel, something which is often hard to find with a property of this size. Chalet Eleanor will be superbly run by two chalet hosts (likely a couple) who live out but nearby.
