British Ski & Board Show 2010

British Ski & Board Show 2010

One of the UK's best winter sports shows the British Ski & Board Show has announced it will be returning to the Birmingham NEC on the 29th -31st October 2010. With a Big Air demo, interactive skills slope and many one off deals to be had, the show is a great way to kick off your winter.

This years show, looks to be another hit with a fantastic choice of entertainment and activities to enjoy. The adiTour, an interactive sports experience from Adidas, offers guests the opportunity to go head-to-head, virtually of course, with stars from athletics, football, rugby and cricket, to name a few. The Valle d'Aosta are putting on the Big Air Show, featuring some of the top skiers and boarders when it comes to 45° jumps. The Team GB Telemarkers will be offering up a demo, including Captain Andrew Clarke, and Ackers Adventure will be providing free skills lessons on their slope.

For those looking who enjoy the intellectual approach to winter sports there is the Fall-line Skiing Talk Theatre. The theatre offers the chance to get tips and advice from some of the industry's experts, whether you want to listen to one of Henry's Avalanche Talks (HAT), the Boot Doctor - for all those ski boot woes, advice from ski technicians or Zoe Gillings talking about her 2010 Winter Olympics experience.

For those looking to shop, along with all the exhibitors at the show, Ellis Brigham featuring the Snowboard Asylum, Bucks Boards and Two Seasons, are all on hand to kit you out with the latest gear.
