It’s just a few weeks until the Telegraph ski and snowboard shows come to Manchester and London. With ski demos, apres bars and all the latest kit, there’s no better way to start your countdown to the ski season. With a range of new events, deals and competitions the 2014 Ski and Snowboard show is set to be bigger and better than ever!The Telegraph Ski and Snowboard Show North will takes place at EventCity, Manchester from 24-26 October 2014 and London will take place at Earls Court 2, London from 30 October – 2 November 2014. Tickets are on sale for both events.

The Drop Inn
A brand new area for lovers of freestyle and backcountry combining the best brands, camps, servicing, photography and more. The main focus will be an authentic airstream stage hosted by former professional snowboarder and renowned MC James Thorne, who will be talking with the leading freestyle & backcountry experts on topics such as heli-boarding in Greenland, competing at the Olympics, avalanche awareness, split boarding, freestyle tips, fitness programs, injury recovery, life on the GB team, equipment innovations and Q&A sessions so that you can quiz the panel of experts.

Warren Smith Video Analysis Booth
For the first time ever the Warren Smith Ski Academy will be giving visitors the chance to have a virtual one to one lesson in a real time video analysis booth. The team will use comparisons, video overlays with one of the Academy’s Pro Team demos to give you pointers and instruction. You’ll leave your consultation with a clear idea of what you need to work on to progress your skiing.
Animal Bike Tour
Enjoy spectacular demos from some of the world’s most exciting jump riders from mountain bike, scooter and BMX. Tom Cardy, Ryan Mcnamara and James Jones have all been blowing people away at comps this year so it is going to be an amazing spectacle seeing them all together for a show.
