James Bond Comes to Sölden  The secret is out! James Bond Heads Back to the snow in the 007's highly anticipated forthcoming movie ‘Spectre’.

Renowned for filming in the most spectacular locations across the world, Spectre director Sam Mendes was eager to announce that shooting will be taking place in Sölden, Obertilliach and Lake Altaussee, Austria. In a press conference held at London’s Pinewood Studios on Thursday, 4th December 2014, director Sam Mendes confirmed: “We are bringing Bond back to the Alps, back to the snow - to Sölden in Austria.”

This is Exciting news for Sölden and the whole ski area of Tirol, Austria which has become used to hosting prestigious events such as the Alpine Ski World Cup. Spectre will feature an all-star cast, including the likes of famed Oscar Winner Christoph Waltz, who is expected to take the role of Bonds nemesis and will be battling 007's Daniel Craig across Austria’s breath-taking backdrop.
