Pond Skimming at The Snow Centre this Summer

Pond Skimming at The Snow Centre this Summer Kick start summer in style and join The Snow Centre at their first outdoor, summer Pond Skimming competition on Saturday 4th July.

You may have seen one a pond skimming event before at a snow festival or at the end of the season in some of the larger resorts. Now The Snow Centre is bringing this fun activity to the UK slopes.

Whether you ski or snowboard, you drop in from the top of a snowy slope to skim across the top of a pool of water. It’s all for fun, so all abilities are welcome to join.

There are a bundle of goodies to win, with a top prize of a ski holiday to Telluride* for who skims the furthest across. There are also plenty of smaller prizes up for grabs including t-shirts, hats and posters. Fancy dress is encouraged!

This will be set up outside and there will be a outdoor snow bar and food stall to keep non-skimmers entertained.

£5 a session at either 1pm – 2.30pm or 3pm – 4.30pm
