After a welcome week of sunshine in the Alps the snow is set to return over the weekend, and in good form too. This season is proving to be one of the best on record and if you've yet to hit the slopes, you'd be mad not to!
France is set for some good snow over the next week, especially in the Tarentaise Valley. La Rosiere is set for a cracking 33cm of snow, while the Espace Killy is set for around 30cm, the Paradiski is forecast 20-30cm and the Three Valleys is expecting around 15-20cm of snow.

Switzerland is also set for a fine weekend of snow with many resorts forecast over 10cm of powder. The top resorts of Zermatt, Saas Fee and Verbier are in great shape, as are the likes of Davos, Klosters and St. Moritz.

Austria is forecast a dusting of snow over the weekend, but with the resorts — such as Lech — boasting over 4 metres of snow already this winter, the slopes are in great shape. The fresh snow isn't needed but will always be welcomed.

Italy is also starting to pick up some good snow in time for the second half of the season. The Dolomites resorts of Arabba and and Selva are in for some serious snow — with up to 38cm forecast — and the Milky Way forecast nearly 20cm of snow.

This season just keeps on giving. The snow keeps arriving in droves and the sunny days, though enjoyable, haven't melted the amazing base, you can only begin to imagine how good March is going to be!
