Snow Report | 24 Jan 2015 If you are off skiing or snowboarding this weekend or next, you are in for a treat! More snowfall is expected this weekend and long term snow forecasts are looking extremely heavy towards the end of next week.

The snowfall last week has much improved conditions in the Alps and there was even some powder to be found earlier this week. Take a look at out in resort team in Avoriaz making the most of the new snow on Tuesday.



Here they are again with the latest snow report from the mountains:


Since the snow fall, sunny blue skies have dominated the second half of the week. This weekend the best of the snow is expected in Northern Switzerland and Austria, with up to 20cm to fall. Then in the second half of next week, over a metre of snow is currently predicted. This is how Thursday is looking:
