Snow sports enthusiasts planning a
ski holiday in Tignes will no doubt be delights to know that conditions at the resort have been described as "superb".
According to the Ski Club of Great Britain, British snowboarder Dan Wakeham came second in the half pipe boarder event at the resort against stiff competition.
Meanwhile, Tignes tourism website has predicted snowfalls for later today after a cloudy start.
Looking ahead, those on a
ski holiday in Tignes this week can expect a sunny day on Tuesday followed by unsettled weather with more snowfalls on Wednesday and additional snow expected between Thursday and Sunday.
This March in Tignes, the Freeride World Tour is taking place on the slopes of the Alps.
The competition will see 44 of the world's "best freeskiers and snowboarders" meet up for a race judged on five main criteria: line choice and execution, fluidity, control, skill and style and finally rhythm.
