Parents looking to occupy their teenage children over half-term may wish to consider a ski holiday in
Val Thorens.
The popular French resort is set to host a week of teen events from February 14th to 20th, merinet.com reports.
Several events have been scheduled to take place, with everything from art workshops to snowboarding activities on offer.
February 15th will see a group of graffiti artists showcasing their talents at Place Caron, where they will be painting two murals.
Other activities include a Big Air competition on February 17th and a ski and boardercross event on February 19th.
Meanwhile, parents need not worry about being left out, with jazz concerts, BMW demonstrations and torch-lit descents also going on.
As Europe's highest ski resort, Val Thorens enjoys some of the best snow conditions and offers direct access to the Three Valleys ski area.
