The Feeling set to host Meribel ski and music festival

The Feeling set to host Meribel ski and music festival The popular French ski resort of Meribel is to play host to some of the biggest names in pop music next March.

Having honed their skills as a band playing to chalet guests in the French Alps, The Feeling have announced the launch of their very own music festival.

The Little World Festival will see the likes of Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Ed Harcourt and Glen Tilbrook from Squeeze join The Feeling in playing to Meribel ski holidays enthusiasts over a seven day period.

While winter sports fans will be required to purchase a ticket to access any or all of the 30-odd gigs set to take place at various venues across Meribel, the festival will culminate in a special free show on the main ski run.

Richard Jones, bass player with The Feeling, explained: "We love festivals, we love skiing, we have a history as a band in ski resorts. It combines all our passions.

Meribel is among the top destinations for winter sports enthusiasts taking ski holidays in France.

The Alpine resort consists of three picturesque villages, all of which are located within the Vanoise National Park.
