Winter Events 2014/15

Christmas Magic
20th- 27th December 2014: Valmorel comes alive with Christmas fever, with a week full of celebrations and festivities. The Christmas spirit illuminates the village with 1000 lights to capture the Christmas magic. 
Programme: Christmas stories, fireworks, torch-lit winter walks, laterns in the windows and more.

New Year’s Eve Night Fever
29th – 31st December 2014: Get your New Year’s Eve celebrations underway with a 3-day long festival of celebrations in Valmorel, the ideal way to party into 2015!
Programme: Professional DJ, dancing, firework display and highly anticipated countdown.



Paragliding
If you want to discover the magic of flight and soar with the eagles, don’t hesitate, Valmorel offers you the adrenaline fuelled experience of Tandem Paragliding over the Valmorel valleys with a team of qualified professionals.
Programme: 50 €; Adults; From 21st of December 2014 - Sunday 19 of April 2015.

Half Term Rugby
19th February 2015: The hard-hitting 6 Resorts Snow-Rugby Tournament is returning for its third year at Valmorel. This extreme event features competing teams of 7 (local, sportsmen, former ski champions and former rugby players), a slalom race and other fun events for all spectators to participate in.

Apres-Ski Mountain biking
With the onset of snow, mountain biking is a new and fantastic way to explore and discover some truly amazing environments on two-wheels.
Programme: Price 30€; 13 years old +

Multi-Sledge
Enjoy the great outdoors in style with Multi-sledging; learn how to manoeuvre a variety of sledging devices, ending your expedition with a phenomenal descent from the top of Pierrafort chairlift, to the bottom on a fun, family friendly snake-gliss.
Programme: Price 25€; From 3.30pm -5pm available every day; Duration 1hr30mins; Snake-gliss, airboard, snow-kart.

Dog Sledding
Valmorel is proud to offer you an exciting adventure. You will learn how to run the sledge with 3 or 4 dogs and also experience 50 minutes of real driving time operating the sledge.
Programme: Price 80€; Duration 1hr30mins; 14 years old+

Snow buggies
Rev things up on snow buggies! This activity is perfect for thrill seekers who want to push their adrenaline to the limit and test their driving skills navigating through the challenging snowy off-piste terrain.
Programme: Price 85€; Duration 1hr15mins; Driver needs to be 18 with a full driving licence and passengers 6 years +.
