Les Carroz d'Arraches Reviews

Les Carroz d’Araches is a pretty little village half-way up the mountain road to Flaine. Pistes in the resort itself are beautiful, some - like les Timalets, the main return - are challenging while others are enchanting forest trails. The beginners slopes are safe but interesting & for non-skiers there's snow-shoeing, skating & tobogganing. There’s a regular & cheerful ski bus which covers all the resorts in the complex: Flaine, Samoëns & Fer à Cheval as well as les Carroz. There are excellent restaurants in les Carroz, from pizzerias to local style (try the Tartiflette!) All in all it’s one of the best & friendliest resorts in the Haute Savoie. Highly recommended.
