Frequent free buses that loop the village - 01/09/2019
Overall

Easy to get around on the free buses that loop around the village that make frequent stops. Plenty of restaurants for all budgets including traditional Italian cuisine. Easy to get to the different slopes, using the bus if wanting to try a different aspect.

Where the sun meets the snow - 22/05/2019
Overall

Driving up to the resort is really where the excitement starts to build. The mountains gradually peaking over the top of the horizon is monumentally beautiful all while the gleaming rays of the scorching Italian sun are bouncing off the reflections of the glistening snow capped peaks. Upon arrival in this charming Italian resort your senses will get engulfed by the tantalising smell of mozzarella, tomatoes and basil as you walk past an abundance of pizzarias. The skiing in Livigno is pleasing for a whole range of abilities and would be perfect whether you're enjoying a boozy trip with the lads, a family holiday with first time skiers or the hard-core go-getter who wants to shred every run and feel every muscle in their legs burn. The apres-ski in Livingo is almost like taking a time-machine back to the 70's. If you are a big fan of the Village People, mass performing YMCA and banging your ski boots to unforgettable umpa music, then look no further. You will be in your element. All in all - 10/10 would ski.

Fantastic all round resort - 23/03/2015
Overall

This was my third ski holiday in my third resort in the last 3 years and Livigno was the best. I had previously been to St. Anton and Bardonnechia and I would rate Livigno better taking everything into consideration (size of resort/variety of slopes, apres-ski, value for money, quality of food, and accomodation). There was something for everyone with nursery slopes and good choice of long gradual blue runs up to testing black runs and snow parks. The pistes were much smoother and nicer to ride at the start of the day than the end of the day as you would expect. The apres bars were very good. Alegra at the bottom of The Carosello lift was the best and got very lively on the two occasions we went there. Stalet (also at the bottom of Carosello) was also good. There were a couple of pubs/clubs that were decent (Miky's and Bivio's). They tended to pick up from midnight and were open until 3am. In terms of bars on the mountain the only real one seemed to be Camanel on the Mottolino side. This seemed to get busier around 12-2pm with the odd group dancing on the benches outside The Bella vista restaurant was brilliant. We didn't really go anywhere else as this was so good. Great pizzas to eat in or takeaway, a huge choice of pastas, meat dishes etc. All was delicious and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend Livigno to anyone
