Excellent value for money - 20/05/2019
Overall

Pas isn't going to win any awards for prettiness, but it's extremely good value for money and great for all abilities of skier. Most hotels are ski in/out or only a few minutes walk away making it handy for those with children (or if you're like me, the slightly lazier of adults..). The Grandvalira ski area is huge, and range of pistes on offer is ideal for any level of skier - especially if you're lucky with snow, the off piste is great! There's also a good aprés scene and beers are cheap!

Great Skiing on the Doorstep - 27/03/2019
Overall

Pas in not for those wanting an idyllic Alps location (especially as it's in the Pyrenees) as it's a busy, lively location full of visitors from Spain and France looking for their duty free bargains, however it does offer some great skiing across the wider ares especially for intermediates. We found some lovely slopes with long runs, well groomed and maintained even when the snow was in short supply. The mountain cafes and toilets were very good too and the staff really friendly. The long transfers are a pain but at that altitude not a lot of space for a runway. None of the hotels are a long walk from the slopes so no lost time trudging about or looking for crowded ski busses. The plethora of shops and bars mean there's always what you want on hand and the ski equipment we rented was first class. Thanks Pas a Great Holiday.

Don't be put off - 20/03/2019
Overall

We arrived in Pas on a Sunday afternoon, which is notorious for crowds from neighbouring countries to descend to take advantage of the low duty on luxury goods. The place was gridlocked until the early evening, when the mini bus was eventually able to deliver our luggage to our hotel. Pas is not a pretty place, but the excellent skiing more than compensates. It is a vast ski area with very well cared for pistes. There are lots of lovely mountain restaurants and miles of quiet runs. There were no lift queues to worry about. The town has a good range of restaurants and bars for apres ski, and drinks prices are not excessive, with many having happy hours. Shopping is well catered for, especially perfume, tobacco and alcohol. We would definitely return.

Ibiza in the Snow - 21/11/2012
Overall

Pas de la Casa is like Ibiza, but in the snow and cheaper! There was no tax so our group managed to get a drink and meal for around 9 Euros. The £ is on the up so that really helps to keep costs down too. Hed Kandi nights at Bilboard and you feel like you're back on the clubbing scene. It you're after thrills personally I love the Peretol Park open all week and evenings at the weekend. Cheap, cheerful and lively this is the resort for you and your mates.
