Chalet-Hotel Charlotte, Serre Chevalier

A superb chalet-hotel with a long history, including once being a family home and a monastery. The superb vaulted ceiling of the dining-lounge and exposed wooden beams of the top floor bedrooms illustrate the classic style. The authentic stone-floored lounge has an open log fire, complemented by the thoroughly modern heating system. The lounge offers cosy alcoves as well as the usual bar with sub village prices and an excellent music system. The professionally equipped kitchen enables the chef to produce excellent food, There is a ski store with heated boot rack. Being a renovated old building, all bedrooms are different, yet are all en-suite. Some bathrooms are large, others are intimate, and a few are circular! The Charlotte is right in the centre of the village near the patisserie, church, bars, shops and close to the lifts. The hotel and its excellent bar are just at the end of the street.

A variety of interesting rooms, fashioned from the historical building, all ensuite, warm and comfortable and definitely not French utility! A selection of double bedded or twin rooms are available, a few will sleep three or four.
