If you are looking for an active ski holiday, relishing the slopes, as well as wanting to be close to the village centre then chalet Sorbier is ideally located. Situated on a peaceful pathway in amongst the pine trees you will be able to enjoy a tranquil location for your winter holiday but have great access to the town which is just across the piste.
You can enjoy the comforts of your traditional and cosy sitting room, in front of the huge open fire or relax after a day on the slopes in the steaming hot tub. In addition Chalet Sorbier has a large terrace and is the perfect place to admire the wonderful views across the Meribel valley and Mont Vallon.
Chalet for 10 guests.
The chalet accommodation is set on three levels. Two good sized twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are located on the top floor. One of these rooms benefits from a third bed. These bedrooms have a balcony and enjoy superb views towards Mottaret.
A further three bedrooms are situated on the ground floor and all have ensuite shower rooms. These include a twin room, a double room and a small double room which we would recommend for single occupancy.
The spacious sitting and dining room is situated on the middle floor and has a warm atmosphere, complemented by the open log fire, wooden beams and traditional slate floors. Stunning views across the whole valley can be enjoyed from the large windows and balcony off the sitting and dining room.
The Hot Tub located on the lower terrace which will provide a wonderful retreat after a day on the slopes and the spectacular scenery surrounding the chalet can be enjoyed whilst relaxing in the steaming tub. Chalet Sorbier also includes a sauna- the perfect way to indulge those weary limbs after a day on the slopes!
Food is one of our main priorities and we know how important a delicious meal is, especially after an energetic day. Your day starts with a welcome cup of tea or coffee served in the comfort of your room. To set you up for a day on the slopes a generous breakfast is served including a choice of cereals, fresh pastries and baguettes, yoghurts, fresh fruit and a cooked option which varies daily. Afternoon tea will be waiting for you when you return from your day out on the slopes and you can look forward to a delicious home baked cake or cookies. Enjoy our house wines, beer and soft drinks which are unlimited in supply and pre dinner aperitifs can be enjoyed in front of the roaring log fire accompanied by a choice of tempting canapes. This is followed by a delicious four course dinner, served with our selected dinner wines.
