Chalet Pégase - Val Thorens, France
Stand-alone chalets are a rarity in Val Thorens and even more so when they are ski-in, ski-out. If it’s a good location you’re after, then Chalets Pégase is housed in Chalet Alrock, situated on piste, next to the brand new Sports Centre, just below the central Place du Caron.
The chalet is in a true ski-in, ski-out loaction giving you direct access to the piste so you just need to clip in, and off you go, either down to the bottom of the magic carpets (for beginners), down to Les Menuires or to the various chairlifts and gondolas that open up access to all of the Three Valleys and the glacier. In terms of bedrooms, three are on the first floor and three are on the second, each with their own shower room and wc.
Pégase takes up the first and second floor of Chalet Alrock. The comfy lounge/diner is on the upper floor, is south facing and when you’re out on the terrace balcony, you overlook the piste with views onto Massif de Peclet, Cime Caron and Pointe de la Masse. There is also a fireplace for a bit of extra cosiness and atmosphere on those cold winter nights. There is also a shared sauna located on the ground floor.
