Versciaco ski resort
Versciaco is comprised of Versciaco di Sotto and Versciaco di Sopra and, along with amazing ski runs, there are plenty of excellent hiking destinations for visitors to explore the beauty of the area.
The peaks in the area look truly marvelous from below and skiing is available in a host of other areas through the DolimitiSuperski Pass.

Skiers and snowboarders can rely on excellent snow coverage across the resort. The tallest vertical slope at the resort is 1068m, while the lowest piste stands at 1132m. Most of the runs here are aimed at beginners and intermediates, making it a fantastic place to enhance skills.
Skiers will have access to 37 individual pistes and there is a snowpark available for snowboarders to develop their tricks and make the most of the scenery.
The Ski Val Pusteria express train links the Sesto Dolomites and the Plan de Corones to offer access to over 200km of pistes. There are direct train connections between the Monte Elmo gondola station in Versciaco/San Candido and Ried-Plan de Corones in Perca.

There are some extraordinary restaurants close to the slopes here, providing excellent culinary options for travellers wanting to sample some local dishes.
Ristorante Monte Elmo is possibly the most attractive option for visitors. Set 2,050m high, the setting is truly magical and delivers some amazing views.
Away from the slopes, tourists can look forward to the stunning parish church in S.Maddalena, which provides some amazing photo opportunities. Touring to the summit of Monte Elmo is a fantastic adventure, too, and is an excellent trail for people to truly experience the beauty of the area.
