The Golden Eagle Resort is located in an 80 acre park-like setting with mountain views and is within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Main Street, a short three mile drive (or shuttle ride) to the slopes. The hotel has lots of family-friendly activities - ice-skating, snowshoeing, complimentary guest computer for e-mailing granny, and is close to the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream factory! The Guest facilities include a fitness centre, with sauna and huge hot tub, a heated indoor swimming pool, the Colonial Café and the Partridge Inn Seafood Restaurant (excellent for seafood and a great kids menu too). The town trolley stops at the resort, taking guests to the ski slopes and the village.
