Ski Holidays in St Sorlin d'Arves, France

St Sorlin is a small traditional village with a typically French atmosphere, tucked away in the Maurienne Valley. With its links to the Les Sybelles ski area and the continual improvements taking place on and off the piste, St Sorlin is often considered an excellent alternative to the more mainstream resorts in France.

St Sorlin Ski Area

St Sorlin is part of the Les Sybelles ski area, 300kms of piste linking St Sorlin d'Arves to St Jean d'Arves, Le Corbier and La Toussuire. The ski area is particularly suited to beginners and intermediate skiers, with plenty of wide open groomed runs. Beginners have a gentle nursery slope right by the village to start of on, before moving onto the numerous greens further up the mountain. Intermediates will enjoy the wide choice of blues and red runs, with a variety of terrain to choose from, including numerous sweeping tree runs. Les Sybelles ski area also has a few challenging black runs for the more advanced skier.

St Sorlin Apres Ski

St Sorlin offers good value for money. Nightlife is low key, but there is a wide choice of restaurants and L'Extreme and L'Avalanche are a good choice for apres ski entertainment.
