Snow report | 09 Sep 2019: First October snow

It’s snowed up to 20cm overnight in many areas of the Alps as temperatures suddenly drop in Europe. After good September snow, about a dozen glacier ski areas are already open including Hintertux, Solden, and Stubai.

Up to 60cm of snow is forecast to snow in high altitude areas in the Eastern Alps of Switzerland, with other surrounding resorts forecast to get 10-30cm.
